How To Setup & Enable Afterpay

1. Once logged into your account, click on your account icon and select account settings
2. Under account settings, click on "payout details"
3. Scroll down to "payment methods for customers", select the "Afterpay" check box and click "save details"
What Is Afterpay?
By enabling and offering Afterpay on your listings, you’re giving customers the opportunity of taking their furniture home today with the flexibility to pay in 4 installments over 6 weeks. You are still paid the full sale price of your listing upon checkout and Afterpay will handle the rest.
Why Should I Offer Afterpay?
Sell More Furniture: Artists that offer Afterpay on their listings have a higher chance of selling their furniture, especially if it's a higher priced piece.
Increase Order Value: Shoppers who use Afterpay have been shown to spend +40% more
More Returning Customers: Shoppers using Afterpay have been shown to make purchases +50% more frequently
Am I Required to Offer Afterpay?
Encore Society Artists are not required to offer Afterpay as a checkout option though we do recommend it.
NOTE: When a buyer selects to use Afterpay for a purchase, you will have an additional 3% commission fee (23% total) that is deducted from your final sale price to cover the additional rate that Afterpay charges. The additional 3% commission fee will only be for transactions where Afterpay is used as they payment option and not for on-site credit card transactions.
